Maynard Groupe, a leading interactive agency is seeking a Senior Web Developer with strong all around web development skills and be proficient with different programming languages to support growing business needs.

Must have extensive experience developing web applications using PHP as well as supporting front-end technologies including but not limited to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery. The position will require development of custom modules/plugins/widgets using jQuery and AJAX. Strong knowledge of SQL and database design/development is also required to architect technical solutions. Must have experience with Web 2.0, Web Services, SOAP/REST and MVC technologies.
Candidate must be available to work evenings, however we're pretty flexible, and you will be able to set your own schedule for the most part. You will be able to work remotely at your own location, however must be available on instant messenger when working. Pay is based on experience (DOE)

Key areas of responsibilities:
- Analysis and Design, Development and Testing, Delivery, Installation and Production Support of Web Applications and websites.
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to junor developers to ensure on time project completion according to strict requirements.

An ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of professional website development, architecture, and implementation experience with LAMP, PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, MySQL and other enterprise web technologies.
- 2+ years of working experience developing high traffic websites
- 2+ years of working experience with Wordpress and MySQL based Content Management Applications
- Must be highly competent in AJAX frameworks (jQuery and Prototype)
- Strong knowledge on various architectural design patterns such as MVC, SOA, web applications.
- Strong experience with MySQL, data modeling and design.
- Previous working experience with Apache Web Server and Linux Server Administration
- Version Control (GIT, SVN) Administration experience a plus
- Design experience with Photoshop, Fireworks, or Flash a plus
- A good sense of humor.
- Experience in a lead developer position a plus

Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with upper management to accomplish web goals: enhance/maintain exsiting custom Web Applications,
- Responsible for architecture/design, development, and testing of client and internal web projects to achieve required functionality
- Responsible for sites across multiple domains, hosted on internal and/or external servers
- Work with upper management on deployment of new releases and application lifecycle management
- Monitor and analyze performance of applications and make recommendations for improving site speed by improving back-end capabilities
